SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Dishwasher/Server for a private day school in Nashville, TN. SAGE offers weekly pay, comprehensive year-round benefits, continuous training, and room to grow your food service career. We are looking for enthusiastic team members who can work independently and as a team. If you have no kitchen experience but a desire to learn the ins and outs of food service, we are happy to train! If you have experience and are ready to hit the ground running, we would love to meet you! This venue is located in the midtown area of Nashville. There is public transit available throughout the day. We also offer on-campus parking.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Follows the school schedule
Catering events require extra hours, advance notice is given for these events

What you’ll do:
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
Wash dishes, pots and kitchen ware.
Keep the kitchen clean, including floors, preparation areas, etc.
What you’ll need:
Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
