Gray Street, Nashville, TN 37203 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Host & Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Host & Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will work closely with both the kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and providing support during busy service periods. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status, special requests, and any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the expediting station. Help set up for banquets or special events as needed, ensuring all food items are prepared and presented according to specifications. Adhere to food handling safety guidelines to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for customers. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in roles related to food handling or customer service. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service in line with our hospitality standards.
