Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed. Skills Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of guests. Experience in the food industry is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. Proficient cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Excellent math skills for managing bills and processing payments accurately. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
