Responsibilities include:

Serve food courses and alcoholicbeverages to guests. Set tables according to type of event andservice standards. Answer questions on menu selections. Communicatewith the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait,recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additionalmeal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requeststo the kitchen. Record transaction in MICROS system at time oforder. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each foodcourse and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as neededto ensure a clean dining area. Maintain cleanliness of work areas,china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness ofwork and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food andbeverage items to proper area. Complete closing duties, includingrestocking items, turning off lights, etc. Present physical andaccurate check to guest and process payment. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional, maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protect companyassets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to companystandards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assistindividuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respondappropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherenceto quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verifyinformation in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Stand,sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire workshift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighingless than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects inexcess of 50 pounds with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulateobjects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills andhand-eye coordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slipperysurfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reachoverhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling,and stooping.
