As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs throughout their visit. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and recommendations. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests. Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience, addressing any issues that may arise promptly. Experience Previous experience in not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry is advantageous. Experience using POS systems is beneficial; knowledge of Toast POS is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
