The banquet server/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food industry. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring timely service by coordinating with kitchen staff. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries. Ensure that all food safety standards are followed during food handling and delivery. Assist in setting up banquet tables and catering events as needed. Help with coffee preparation and service during busy shifts. Support bartenders by delivering drinks to guests when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Set up, Serve and breakdown banquet events. Meetings, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and receptions Qualifications Experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in restaurant, hotel and banquet settings. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. Previous experience in food preparation or catering is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
