As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests. Assist in managing the flow of guests to ensure timely seating and service. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak times. Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
