Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions, and supporting various tasks in our restaurant or retail setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Process cash transactions with precision and speed
- Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as required
- Offer menu recommendations, address customer inquiries, and upsell additional items to enhance sales
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive demeanor
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
- Familiarity with food safety protocols is advantageous
