Role and What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to join our team on-site in our Margate, Florida, HQ Office. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of positivity and empathy. As the People and Culture Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational effectiveness and talent engagement. Your primary focus will be executing positive culture initiatives across the organization, enabling leaders to build, lead, and develop a diverse, high-performing team. You will be responsible for various P&C/HR functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, and the daily administration of benefits and other employee relations programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable laws and regulations. In this individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of People and Culture, you will develop and implement P&C/HR strategies aligned with our business objectives. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of P&C/HR functions, from job advertising and candidate recruitment to performance management and employee development. Your role will also involve reporting on core analytics to track recruitment goals, employee satisfaction, and retention, while leading organizational design and change management initiatives to maintain a motivated and engaged team. Additionally, you will guide and support managers and employees on various P&C/HR-related matters, manage employee relations issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective P&C/HR policies and procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement P&C/HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives. Oversee and drive the entire lifecycle of P&C/HR functions and processes, including job advertising, candidate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, benefits administration, and employee development. Travel flexibility to engage employees in person across all company locations (up to three times a year). Report on core analytics to track goals and progress in recruitment, employee satisfaction, retention, etc. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Lead future organizational design and change management initiatives to help maintain a high-performing, motivated, and engaged team. Drive process improvement efforts to streamline P&C/HR processes and enhance efficiency. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on P&C/HR-related matters, including leave requests, FMLA/ADA/Disability, and company policies. Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations as necessary, and oversee employee counseling and discipline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement P&C/HR policies and procedures. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in P&C/HR.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (required). A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in P&C/HR, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (experience in an Answering Service, Virtual Receptionist, or Contact Center company is preferred). Strong knowledge of P&C/HR principles, practices, and employment laws at the local, state, and federal level. Experience with P&C/HR systems and platforms like Paycom, Rippling, Workday, Fountain, etc. Proven ability to influence and drive change with leaders across the organization, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including oversight of the recruitment process. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proven skills and success in recruitment, employee engagement, and retention. SHRM Certified Professional (Preferred)
