Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess, design, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients with a wide range of mobility and functional challenges. This role involves both clinical expertise and a strong commitment to personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients to determine their prosthetic and/or orthotic needs through physical assessments and consultation. Design and develop appropriate devices using patient-specific measurements and industry-standard techniques. Fit, align, and adjust devices to ensure comfort, functionality, and performance. Provide education and training to patients on the use and care of their devices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technologies and best practices. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications:

Certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) or eligible for certification. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics or related field. State licensure. Strong clinical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
