This includes areas suchas talent management, change management, organizational andperformance management, training and development, and compensation.
The CPO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs andplans to the executive management team and the board ofdirectors.
The CPO will work closely with the executive team to be asteward of cultural and operational excellence through a proactiveand consistent approach to people and the organization. They willcollaborate with the Chief executive team and business leaders ontalent and leadership, including enhancing employee engagement,identifying and recruiting the best talent, fostering a diverse andinclusive environment, and driving employer brand as a great placeto work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goalsto drive growth, employee satisfaction, and workforceplanning. Oversee merger integration efforts with the goal of building asingle, cohesive, Keesler Federal culture. Transition all HRprograms and benefits. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team,providing HR insights, solutions, and guidance on strategicinitiatives. Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract top-tier talent andimplement retention strategies to reduce turnover and driveengagement. Promote an inclusive culture that reflects the company’svalues, enhances employee well-being, and fosters a positive workenvironment. Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagementprograms to ensure a respectful, productive, and motivatedworkforce. Implement learning and development initiatives, includingleadership development, compliance training, and professionalgrowth opportunities. Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs alignedwith industry benchmarks and employee needs. Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws whilemitigating organizational risk and addressing legal issues. Optimize HR operations and systems for efficiency, scalability,and a seamless employee experience. Leverage HR technology and metrics to drive data-drivendecisions, monitor performance, and support organizationalgoals. Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of HRservices and people strategy initiatives with key performanceindicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvementbased on these metrics.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 15 yrs working experience as HR executive or otherHR leadership role. Demonstrate Keesler Federal values of Approachability,Authenticity, Commitment and Empathy People-oriented and results-driven. Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Ability to architect strategy along with leadershipskills. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentationskills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonalrelationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices. Degree in Human Resources or related field.
PreferredQualifications:
Experience leading people strategy for financial servicesinstitutions Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, orrelated field.
