As an Executive Assistant, you will performplex, diverse and confidential administrative duties supporting members of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team and selected members of their team. You will work independently and in collaboration with peers on projects of varying size andplexity while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations of the Corporate office. This role exercises significant judgement to aplish goals. What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities) While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be: Executive Support
Partners with other Executive Assistants to maintain smooth office routine and meet necessary deadlines.
Communicates and/or coordinates instructions with each leader and their respective teams and other employees throughout the Company including Board of Directors, Compensation Committee, Executive Leadership, and employees in Corporate and at the Company’s different Businesses. Able to be an effective resource for responding to questions and able to provide information as appropriate to others
Works closely with the CHRO and President of Global Operations to schedule and manage calendars effectively.
Coordinates travel for CHRO and President of Global Operations and others as needed and time allows.
Acts as a liaison for scheduling virtual and in person meetings, visitors and iing correspondence; responds and/or transmits messages as appropriate.
Prepares and reviews standard presentations and reports.
Draft’s correspondence for executives’ final approval andanizes and maintains executive correspondence and records as well as follow up as needed. Must be able to do so with good judgement and at times with limited direction
Coordinates other projects, as requested, including the corporate travel planning calendar and investor relations activities.
Performs duties in a manner that aligns to and ads topany policy with regard to internal controls
Provides backup support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, assisting with projects and coverage as necessary.
Office Management:
Supports day-to-day administration of the Corporate office including coordinating facility needs, managing iing and outgoing mail, deliveries, visitors, etc.
Liaise with landlords for maintenance requirements and general facilitiesmunications.
Purchase and maintain inventory of office related supplies and equipment
Partner with Information Technology staff to coordinate deployment of technology tools and resources required for general operations What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education) We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has: Required Experience Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build relationships andmunicate in a clear and effective manner with constituents both internal and external to the Company and at all levels of responsibility.
Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of diplomacy, urgency, drive and energy
Good understanding and ability to managemunications in a Corporate environment that strongly values collaboration and respectful dialogue. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and leadership.
Project management skills. Able to balance multiple projects in an unsupervised environment.
Proven discretion with highly confidential information/documents.
Experienced with travel and event planning including both domestic and international travel and able tomunicate schedules in a detailed and concise manner.
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience Education & Certifications 10+ years of experience in a related position in a corporate environment Travel & Working Environment Travel less than 10%
