Position Summary As Vice President of Human Resources , you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, leading the full spectrum of human capital strategy—with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition , training & development , compensation strategy , strategic leadership , and leading organizational change . You will be instrumental in driving culture and purpose throughout the organization—ensuring our people practices reflect our mission, values, and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Design and lead a national recruiting strategy to attract top-tier technicians, field service professionals, and corporate talent Build proactive pipelines through partnerships with trade schools, military programs, and industry groups Optimize recruiting processes using analytics, technology, and structured interview models to ensure quality-of-hire Align hiring plans with workforce forecasting and business growth objectives across multiple states Coach and lead an internal recruiting team, enhancing recruiter capability and efficiency Training & Organizational Development Build a scalable learning and development framework that supports technician certifications, front-line leadership, and career mobility Launch onboarding, compliance, and safety training programs aligned with operational excellence goals Foster a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement across the organization Partner with operational and functional leaders to build customized development plans and internal succession pipelines Compensation Strategy & Total Rewards Lead the development and execution of a competitive, equitable, and performance-driven compensation strategy Evaluate market data and internal benchmarks to ensure pay practices attract and retain top talent Oversee salary structures, incentive programs, job leveling, and annual compensation planning Ensure total rewards programs are aligned with company values, business goals, and compliance standards Strategic Leadership, Culture & Change Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on organizational design, workforce strategy, and talent planning Lead enterprise-wide change initiatives that align people, systems, and structure with long-term business goals Champion efforts to build and sustain a culture of purpose, inclusion, and employee engagement Translate business needs into HR strategies that drive performance and foster meaning and connection for every employee Embed company values into talent practices and leadership development efforts to ensure culture is consistently reinforced at every level ️ HR Operations & Compliance Oversee HR operations including benefits, compliance, employee relations, and policy development Ensure legal compliance across state lines and manage risk in a highly regulated, labor-intensive environment Support due diligence and workforce integration for acquisitions and business expansion Qualifications 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with proven success in talent acquisition , training & development , compensation strategy , and organizational change At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a service-based, logistics, or skilled trades environment Demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives while inspiring culture, purpose, and shared values Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy and influence across departments Experience leading HR teams in multi-site, geographically dispersed operations Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or
