Position Description:

We are seeking an ambitious individual with extensive health plan knowledge to join our team! As a member of our benefits operations department, you will be responsible for handling the administration of all non-Prestige client plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Process all aspect of renewals (June/November/January) + Process and administer the installation of new plans + Communicate with carriers and clients + Collect and maintain plan documentation + Audit plans + Claims assistance + Partner with Accounting to reconcile bill + Benefit system set up for new plans + Assist with Open enrollment: + Prepare the system for every client renewal change (benefits and contributions) for Open Enrollment + Update all benefit rules for every client and class for every benefit offered for individual client

Open Enrollment Education and Experience Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree + 3-5 years experience in the field of Employee Benefits + Exceptional computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems + Broker license preferred

Skills and Personal Qualifications:

+ Fundamental understanding and experience in administration of employee benefits and the community-rated market + Working knowledge of compliance with ERISA and IRS laws + Ability to administer multiple priorities at once + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment We are a hybrid model. 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home.
