Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated Dean of Academics to join our team in Miami, Florida in downtown Miami. In this role, you will oversee the comprehensive management of academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. You will also play a key part in supporting the growth and development of faculty and students while fostering partnerships with external organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage faculty to ensure alignment with academic goals and high standards.
- Oversee faculty assignments for new teaching terms and participate in orientation activities for both faculty and students.
- Welcome and guide new students, monitoring their progress throughout their first term.
- Maintain and enhance campus curriculum, incorporating competency-based learning and skills development.
- Develop partnerships with industry leaders, coordinate networking events, and expand the network for students.
- Implement innovative learning tools, including practice labs, simulations, and case studies, to enrich the academic experience.
- Achieve programmatic accreditation for academic programs and establish articulation agreements with other institutions.
- Expand continuing education programs, introducing certifications and diplomas in high-demand fields.
- Monitor student academic progress, advising on issues such as drops, leaves of absence, and retention.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic administration or related roles.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and benefits administration functions.
- Strong organizational skills, including managing calendars, timelines, and budgets.
BACHELOR’S REQUIRED, MASTER’S PREFERRED
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements and academic advising practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain industry connections for internships and apprenticeships.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with innovative educational tools and curriculum development.
