Job Description
Overview
This analyst position reports directly to the Director of Benefits and Payroll. This position will be key to carry out the following day-to-day tasks:
Performing HR related tasks such as, but not limited to:
Processing of new hire information, including pre-screening and onboarding of new hires;
Personnel changes, such as change in supervisor, direct deposit, address, promotions, etc.;
Processing of terminations; and
Assisting employees with any HR or benefits related issues or requests for leave.
Supporting other MasTec Service Lines with transferring employees amongst the different companies and other HR related and administrative tasks.
Becoming the liaison for the company’s whistleblower system and support the Corporate legal, compliance, internal audit departments and MasTec service lines.
Performing data integrity related procedures, including but not limited to:
Reconciling data HR system (UKG Pro) of records to Oracle; and
Conduct regular audits on vendor systems to ensure information is complete and accurate compared to Oracle data.
Assisting the Director – Benefits and Payroll on the day-to-day departmental responsibilities.
Streamlining the process for regular requests made to the MasTec service lines by implementing an efficient and effective method of submission.
Assisting in the implementation of tools for better processes around HR and benefits (i.e. Claims analytics, reporting consolidation, benefits billing among others).
Performing other duties and special projects as required.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Some HR background. No certifications required
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA or MBA is a plus
Experience with Oracle R12 and/or UKG Pro is a plus
