Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Doral, FL! The Employee Benefits Account Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the department and will assist Account Executives, Account Managers, and Producers with sales and service-related projects and activities in support of client maintenance and conservation.

How You Will Contribute:

Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload considering new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external deadlines are met Responsible for electronic file set-up and maintenance, along with ongoing filing and documentation of carrier quotes and correspondence and other client documentation Service client accounts, process enrollment changes, maintain client relationships and manage client files Inform clients of compliance and employee benefit products, annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, miscellaneous benefit changes and/or clarifications Review and manage implementation of client, carrier or plan changes including verifying plan benefits sold, rates, proper paperwork submission and coverage verification Prepare employee communication materials, benefit guides for existing clients’ open enrollment Assists with the preparation of reports, proposals and other presentation materials Assists in processing necessary paperwork for submission to carriers Data entry into spreadsheets, internal agency management system, carrier websites, etc. Follow up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues Oversee customer service plans for department clients and understand the needs of the customer Maintain client records in Agency database Any other duties as may be assigned

Licenses and Certifications:

Florida Life & Health insurance license (preferred) 440 Customer Service Representative (pr5eferred) Skills & Experience to

Be Successful:

High School degree Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) Working knowledge of MS office products.
