Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Verification of Benefits (VOBs) for prospective patients at out-of-network behavioral health facilities. Use portals like Availity and payer-specific sites to confirm eligibility and policy details . Calculate estimated reimbursements based on payer methodology and internal tools. Identify policy trends and generate reports to support payer strategy. Provide timely, professional communication with internal teams and clients. Collaborate with other team members to triage and prioritize incoming requests . Accurately log and track all benefit verification activity . Handle additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or insurance billing setting preferred but not required . Strong typing skills , excellent organization , and the ability to work in a results-driven, fast-paced environment. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills . Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.). Comfortable making high-volume calls to insurance carriers and navigating insurance portals. Team player with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through .

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Tech-savvy and quick learner . Demonstrated interest in healthcare, behavioral health, or insurance administration.
