Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated PEO Benefits Specialist I to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and has a strong background in benefits administration. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal regulations and providing support to clients through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound client inquiries regarding benefits and payroll services, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Audit and reconcile discrepancies in benefit documentation and billing processes to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address client concerns and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex issues related to federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems while adhering to documentation standards.
- Distribute relevant communications such as faxes and email campaigns to clients and stakeholders.
- Lead special projects and training sessions to enhance team productivity and knowledge.
- Monitor and correct errors in audit reports and billing processes to ensure precision.
- Provide guidance and support on HRIS payroll systems, including Paychex platforms.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional client service. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with Paychex systems and HRIS payroll platforms is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and associated tools.
- Strong ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interactions.
- Proven ability to audit, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in benefit functions.
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to payroll and benefits compliance.
