Payroll Benefits Specialist Position Available In Sarasota, Florida

Overview:

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Benefits Specialist to manage all aspects of payroll and employee benefits for a dynamic and growing organization. This role is responsible for processing $30 million in annual payroll, supporting benefit administration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including 401K audits. This is a key position within the HR/Finance function and offers the flexibility to work remotely or from offices located in Florida or Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-monthly payroll for employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage end-to-end payroll activities including data entry, approvals, deductions, and reconciliations. Administer employee benefits, including setup in internal systems and vendor portals. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and benefits. Coordinate and support 401K audits, providing necessary documentation and data. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and external vendors to optimize payroll and benefits processes.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration. Proficiency with ADP payroll systems is required. Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and 401K plan administration. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support employee inquiries. Experience working in a multi-state environment is a plus.
