Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our team in Altamonte Springs, Florida. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will be responsible for supporting compensation programs, conducting job evaluations, and ensuring compliance with organizational and federal standards. This position offers the opportunity to apply analytical skills to enhance compensation strategies and contribute to organizational success.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct job pricing and evaluations using best practices to recommend appropriate pay grade placements.
  • Review and analyze classification requests to determine exempt or non-exempt status in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform audits to ensure data accuracy and standardization across compensation records.
  • Draft, edit, and review job descriptions for clarity and alignment with organizational roles.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, escalating questions or issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Stay informed about organizational structure, policies, and compensation trends within the industry.
  • Participate in corporate salary surveys and prepare related documentation as directed.
  • Assist with annual market adjustments and update compensation data in relevant systems.
  • Analyze the impact of new or modified compensation programs, preparing detailed reports on costs, workforce effects, and procedural implications.
  • Serve as a resource on pay practices, providing guidance to leadership on compensation decisions and policy interpretation. Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of compensation administration practices and guidelines.
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations related to job classifications.
  • Experience participating in salary surveys and analyzing market data.
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining accurate documentation for compensation activities.
