Compensation Advisor – Chicago or Decatur, IL
ADM is currently seeking a dynamic Compensation Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our global compensation strategies. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the HR team to provide expert consultation and you will also focus on the research of compensation best practices, monitor legal developments, and evaluate emerging trends. Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with and support the HR team to provide consultation, advice, and governance structure in support of pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation
Support the day-to-day administration of compensation data, processes, and analysis
Assist with the global annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonus payouts
Provide ongoing market analyses, including benchmarking, compensation survey assessment and analysis, compensation trend analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
Participate in global compensation surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark company practices and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
Provide analytical support by using data modeling and dashboards to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
Ensure compensation practices are in compliance with local, national, and international regulations
Experience
Bachelor’s degree or International equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR or Finance field
Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand complex job information and conduct job analysis
Clear verbal and written communication skills – to interact with all levels within the organization, including high-level executives
Highly proficient at Excel – pivot tables, graphs, and charting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to collaborate and consult with HR to build credibility and be an effective partner
