Job Description

Description Robert Half HR Solutions is currently looking for a contract Benefits Specialist to support our client on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This position requires a strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, and other insurance offerings. The role is a hybrid setup, with three days onsite and two days remote each week, and will last approximately three months. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of benefits experience working as a front line representative to employees both local and throughout the country. Strong knowledge of qualifying events, onboarding, and offboarding will be required for this role and there will be limited training for the benefits candidate selected. This client is looking to move very quickly with the engagement and is targeting a start date in June 2025. Due to the short duration of this engagement, candidates who are able to work a full time schedule for the duration of the engagement will be given first consideration.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding health and welfare benefits, providing clear and timely information.
  • Utilize the benefits administration portal to manage and resolve employee benefits-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Benefits to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA and other regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
  • Coordinate COBRA administration and disability benefits processes with attention to detail.
  • Assist with claims administration, including reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and stakeholders regarding benefits programs.
  • Provide expertise in dental, vision, medical, and welfare benefits offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all benefits-related transactions.
  • Offer guidance and support for insurance benefits and disability claims. Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in handling health, welfare, and insurance benefits programs.
  • Strong knowledge of COBRA administration and claims processing.
  • Familiarity with ERISA compliance and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to address employee concerns effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with benefits analysis and coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing documentation.
