Competitive Sr. Benefits Administrator

JOBSUMMARY

Under the direction of the Benefits Manager, the Sr.

Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-dayadministration of the company’s group benefits programs (grouphealth, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, lifeinsurance, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, etc.). Thisposition requires an acute attention to detail, excellent problemsolving skills, and provides excellent customer service to bothinternal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseemaintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefitsdatabase and update employee payroll records. Performs qualitychecks/audits of benefits-related data to ensure the accuracy ofall benefit related data in the benefit enrollment system toprovide stakeholders (vendors, brokers, finance) with accuratedemographic, eligibility, enrollment, and premium information.

Evaluate and revise internal benefits processes to ensure accuracyof data, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Responsible forweekly 401(k) contribution reconciliation and funding. Performsaudits to ensure the accuracy of demographic, employment, andenrollment data between 401(k) record-keeper and HRIS/Payrollsystem. Assists with annual 401(k) compliance testing, audit, and5500. Assists with the annual renewal and open enrollment process,including: census preparation, communications development anddistribution, OE system testing, and educational webinars.

Effectively manages ACA compliance within ADP. Monitors BenefitsDepartment email and assists employees and managers with theirbenefits questions or issues. Provides additional assistance whenemployees are experiencing issues with insurance carriers.

Processes and administers leave-of-absence, accommodation requests,and applicable disability paperwork. Processes Medical SupportOrders in the electronic garnishment platform. Processes some ofthe department monthly invoicing. Other duties as assigned. CBCapstone Logistics, LLC is part of The Transportation and Logisticsindustry which has been designated a “Critical InfrastructureSegment”. As a “critical infrastructure industry” worker in theTransportation and Logistics industry, associates are consideredexempt from local restrictions such as curfews, shelter-in-placeorders, and other mobility restrictions when reporting to,returning from, or performing his or her work functions.
