Job Summary Benefits Analyst
Location:
Hybrid in Boston (onsite 3-4 days/week) A client in the professional services space in Boston is looking to hire a Benefits Analyst. As a member of the HR team, this person will be responsible for administering leaves of absence (LOAs) & supporting employee benefit enrollment. With a strong customer service focus, this role will be responsible for working collaboratively with all levels of staff as well as external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor a wide variety of leaves of absence and disability programs in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
Counsel employees and managers on leave policies & procedures
Responsible for managing and resolving employee inquiries on benefit eligibility and claim issues, escalating as needed
Support the administration of all health and welfare benefit plans
Support open enrollment planning, communications, and execution
Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, & HR team members to create efficient benefits processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of multi-state LOA experience
Working knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, and other state and federal requirements
Strong Excel skills required
