We work directly with employees throughout the U.S. providing customized benefit communication and administrative services and support to our client’s HR Departments and their individual employees The Wellness/Benefit Engagement Specialist (WBES) has a strong affinity for wellness and passion for inspiring the well-being of others. Provides wellness support and drives opportunities to conduct individual personalized benefit review sessions to educate and enroll on all core and voluntary benefit insurance products. Grows to meet the needs of the client’s 3Human Resources department and employees and supports BCInsourcing coworkers. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the client’s provided health and wellness initiatives. Supports the client’s employee’s well-being and aligns with the client’s culture and provided strategic objectives. The WBES is responsible for influencing the client-facing relationship by ensuring that the client’s leadership and each employee has a comprehensive understanding of our company’s model and their benefit options.
Location:
This position supports The University of Kansas Hospital in Liberty, MO. This role does require being onsite each day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Wellness Services:
Develops a detailed understanding and in-depth working knowledge of our client’s employer-sponsored wellness program. In collaboration with the client, the WBES plans, implements, and supports the wellness program initiative by responding to employee and vendor inquiries in a timely manner. Investigates and resolves wellness program-related concerns. Supports the wellness program email inbox and/or contact center, as assigned. Acts as a liaison between the client’s HR department, employees, BCInsourcing, and wellness program vendors.
Operational Services:
Completes various operational duties, as assigned by client and BCInsourcing; based on client needs. Duties may include (but are not limited to) developing wellness activities, creating wellness-related content for newsletters, web-based outlets and other employee communications. Follows the client’s wellness strategy to plan, promote, and attend onsite events. Communicates with vendors and internal departments to ensure ongoing collaboration. Assists with employee wellness education to encourage program participation.
Benefit Review Services:
Analyzes census data to create a customized reach out strategy meant to effectively connect with newly hired and existing employees to conduct personalized one-on-one comprehensive benefit review sessions. Inputs and captures employee enrollment decisions, using appropriate system platforms or paper application process, following Life and Health licensure regulations and BCInsourcing’s quality assurance.
Client Support Services:
Represents BCInsourcing as Company Ambassador to the assigned client(s) by engaging in purpose-driven dialogue with the department leaders, providing support while exercising independent judgement to cultivate effective business relationships and maintaining rapport with all case partners and the client’s employees. Maintains a working knowledge of the client’s annual open enrollment process for new and/or existing employees. Adapts to annual open enrollment periods and special projects by adjusting a self-guided work calendar to meet the needs of the client’s employees including evenings and weekends, with local travel as necessary.
Licensure:
Maintains an active Life, Health and Accident Insurance Producer’s License including timely continuing education and meets other licensing requirements and documentation, as directed by BCInsourcing’s Licensing Specialist. Promptly notifies BCInsourcing’s Licensing Specialist of any information or situation which may impact licensing status. Other Support Performs all other tasks as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED equivalent or equivalent years of experience Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license to travel to client sites Demonstrated polished and articulate public speaking and group presentation skills Professional experience demonstrating superior customer service skills while multi-tasking and working under pressure of deadlines Professional experience demonstrating self-motivation and result-driven outcomes to successfully represent the company at the client location with limited and offsite supervision Proven experience following a step-by-step process while using deductive reasoning to produce positive outcomes Proficient in
Microsoft Suite:
MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
