We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Benefit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating administration of Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina benefits programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. Duties Responsible for accurately and timely processing payroll. Maintain accurate employee records while also addressing payroll related inquiries and resolving discrepancies. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Consult with and advise employees on eligibility, provisions, and other matters related to benefit programs. Provide training development for employees regarding benefits enrollment processes and changes. Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to benefits. Experience Proven experience in benefits administration or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements related to employee benefits. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Experience in training development and delivery is beneficial.
