QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of college or technical school Three to five years of bookkeeping experience or an equivalent combination of training/experience Possess a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs Possess computer keyboarding data entry and calculator skills

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Ability to perform duties with knowledge of state and federal regulations, including all district and Board of Education policies Ability to work under deadlines and handle problems with a high degree of efficiency Willingness to attend meetings and participate in outside training opportunities as needed
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Administer Health, Dental, Vision, Ameriflex, and supplemental benefits, calculating payments, distributing information, collecting payments Reconcile various insurance billings Complete necessary data entry into payroll system Complete annual Affordable Care Act 1095 reports Assist HR Department in conducting New Employee Orientation concerning benefits Processes termination of benefits due to resignation, retirement, or death of an employee Workers’ Compensation Administrator, assisting employees with work injuries, filing of claims, making medical appointments Complete annual OSHA reports Must cross-train with Payroll Accountants to learn basic payroll functions Other duties as assigned by the Payroll Supervisor and/or Chief Financial Officer Additional duties as necessary to carry out job responsibilities and as directed by the Chief Financial Officer
