Provides prompt, efficient, friendly, high-quality service to internal and external clients. Communicates consistently and positively with clients to reinforce our “Client-First” service philosophy. Builds and maintains good relationships with clients and office staff. Follows agency established procedures and guidelines to perform assigned duties. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications A combination of 2 years education and related office experience (i.e. insurance claims department, medical office, independent agency, etc.) Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Must be an assertive self-starter with the ability to influence others Must excel at being client focused and able to work in a team-oriented environment Should have demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Supervisory Responsibilities May have some supervisory responsibilities as the business grows. Essential Functions Owns the Benefit Technology platforms JIA uses Creates efficient processes Utilizes all aspects of the platforms Creates and assists with training internal JIA team and external JIA clients Maintains digital files in an orderly, up to date manner Maintains working knowledge of all company change procedures Performs quality assurance Performs other functions as assigned by management Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary. Work Environment This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, copier, filing cabinets and fax machine. Travel Some travel within the local area required to visit client sites.
