Employee Benefits Specialist – Small Business Unit (Manchester, NH) Join our growing Employee Benefits Team in our Manchester, NH office as an SBU Benefit Specialist! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our small business clients by guiding them through their employee benefits and providing ongoing service. Responsibilities:
Guide new small business clients through the smooth implementation of their employee benefits plans. This includes collaborating with insurance carriers to secure and prepare accurate rate and benefit information for client presentations. Serve as a dedicated point of contact for our existing small business clients, expertly managing their annual benefit renewals and addressing their service inquiries throughout the year. Accurately and efficiently manage all necessary data entry related to client benefits administration. Adhere to written process and quality management guidelines. Process enrollments and terminations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred. Prior Employee Benefits Administration Experience Desired. 3-year minimum experience in Customer Service, Accounts Receivable or other professional work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer Service skills to include empathy with client situations, quick response times and demonstrated ability to compose clear and accurate routine and non-routine correspondence. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet time sensitive deadlines and prioritize workload with minimal supervision. High level attention to detail, able to see tasks to presentable conclusions independently, and provide visually appealing outcomes. Must be an avid team player and able to manage one’s own projects as well be willing to help others. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications but must have strong Excel skills. Familiarity with Salesforce desired. Ability to learn multiple new web applications for data entry Familiarity with the health insurance industry and New England carriers preferred.
