Responsibilities :

Build your business (assume responsibility for an existing book of business) by maximizing your ability to develop relationships, lead strategic planning, coordinate internal resources to optimize retention and build a network of COI’s to generate new business. Build internal relationships with partner lines of business to take full advantage of the cross-sell opportunities available. Articulate the HUB value proposition by emphasizing the depth and breadth of the services, support and market differentiators available to you and your clients/prospects. Collaborate with company support staff to review opportunities and focus on multi-year strategies with the support of our local and national EB experts. Coordinate ongoing service for existing accounts with the full support and accountability of our highly skilled Account Support team. Prepare and/or present proposals to prospects and clients. Ability to manage/service large EB book of business. Identify and help to establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with “C-Level” and other decision makers for assigned HUB clients. Possess a detailed knowledge of the client’s business and industry, being able to articulate applicable, insurance needs, financial plan performance, benchmarking, and appropriate/available employee benefits solutions. Successfully build professional and collaborative relationships with carrier representatives, related EB vendors and business partners, and HUB colleagues through strategic business improvement for the client. Directly oversee and coordinate the delivery of all HUB services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle, including annual strategy sessions, renewal execution, stewardship reports, compliance reviews, health and performance, and communication, benefits technology solutions. Actively delegates to support team and helps to coach team members to achieve desired results. Ensure that all client service needs are promptly and professionally delivered whether from the Account Executive or via HUB colleagues (e.g., Client Relationship Manager, Benefit Analysts, etc.). The Strategic Consultant is accountable for the competence, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables to the client. Be knowledgeable about and comply with HUB systems, procedures, and state/federal insurance regulations. Possesses mastery of the various HUB and industry resources and tools that are available and utilizes same to best serve clients. Seek continued knowledge and stays abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients. Makes appropriate recommendations to clients in response to those changes. Serve as a Mentor for new and developing team members identified by the leadership team.

Qualifications:

Minimum four years’ experience EB client services and or new business production. Appropriate state Producer Broker License required. Ability to identify potential clients and initiate contact. Must possess a complete proficiency in alternative funding mechanisms, including but not limited to self-funding. Experience with influencing C-level executives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint programs. High energy, detail-oriented self-starter. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. Significant skill in handling competing demands and projects. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and delegate responsibility. Willingness to travel.
