Description
ADP is hiring a Benefit Payments Processing Specialist
In this role, you will be part of a small team providing operational support of disbursements from
ADP 401K
plans. All ADP retirement plan disbursements are produced, reconciled, and reported through this team and you will be an integral part of accomplishing it.
Daily, you will work with administrative systems to process and mail checks, troubleshoot production issues, carryout special handling requests, and manage inventory. As you develop in the role, you may also process payments, reconcile demand deposit accounts, provide instructions for money moves, respond to internal requests, and perform tax-related assignments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON A TYPICAL DAY
Facilitate the workflow of payment processing from after submission to disbursement
Perform all tasks necessary to complete the daily production of retirement payments
Review system-generated check reports, correct errors, and print system-generated check file
Review manual check requests, create payments, correct errors, and print manual check file
Run afternoon system cycles/jobs to update systems with all daily distribution data
Assemble end of day reports and archive daily check audit package
Monitor and respond to internal customer requests and inquires
Operate systems to perform payment processing duties
Support team members in various roles as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
Have an eye for detail and strong organization skills
Ability to work independently, manage your time well, multi-task and maintain firm deadlines
Strong math and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve system and data issues
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with business and desktop systems
Be highly driven, self-motivated to learn new concepts, and willingness to participate in new projects
Demonstrate collaboration and flexibility to work toward team goals

Intermediate Excel skills
Experience with FIS Omni
Knowledge of 401K retirement plans, financial services industry and/or tax regulations
