Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Payroll & Benefits Analyst will support payroll processing and benefits administration for Ascot US. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now and a strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, as well as managing employee benefits programs effectively.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing :

Accurately process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits. Handle enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely manner.

Data Management :

Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all payroll and benefits-related laws and regulations. Prepare and file required reports and documentation, including state and local tax registration.

Tax Administration:

Register for new payroll tax jurisdictions and reconcile tax invoices and penalty notices.

Employee Support:

Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries. Resolve issues and provide guidance on payroll and benefits policies.

Reporting:

Generate and analyze payroll and benefits reports to provide insights and recommendations to management. Use these reports for data quality management to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Reconciliation:

Reconcile payroll entries, benefit deductions and coverage to ensure that all employee pay and benefits are accurately reflected and paid.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and benefits administration and implement best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, with specific experience using ADP Workforce Now. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll processes and benefits administration. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred. Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred. Knowledge of HRIS systems and other payroll software.

  • Compensation Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills.

The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The salary range for this position is $85,000
