JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Benefits Specialist supports the benefits administration, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while providing guidance to employees and managers. This role collaborates with vendors, manages leave of absence programs, and supports ADA accommodations. Additionally, this position will assists in benefits plan analysis, Workers’ Comp matters, enrollment processes, special events for the organization and resolving complex employee inquires. The Specialist Benefits Specialist will train and mentor the Total Rewards team members, streamline processes, and contribute to benefits strategy and implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years’ experience or a combination of education and experience in a Human Resources department. PHR (Professional in Human Resources or SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Human Resource certification preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to multi task in a high volume setting required.
