Our customer is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Benefits Administrator to join the Human Resources team.
The customer is a DOD with several subsidiaries as well as in 48 states. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. A critical component of this role is the ability to leverage advanced Excel skills, particularly pivot tables, to analyze benefits data, generate reports, and identify trends. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills- this position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other formulas, to analyze benefits data.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on benefits enrollment, utilization, and costs.
Identify trends and patterns in benefits data to inform decision-making.
Create and maintain dashboards to track key benefits metrics.
Prepare data for audits and compliance reporting.
Analyze and present data to management, providing clear and concise insights. …
Create and maintain spreadsheets to track and manage benefits information.
Perform reconciliation’s between vendor reports, and internal HRIS systems.
Compliance and Communication:
Stay up-to-date on changes in benefits regulations and best practices.
Communicate benefits information effectively to employees through various channels.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Assist with compliance audits and reporting requirements.

8:00 AM – 5:00

Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits systems and with vendors.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits plans and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records.
Coordinate and conduct benefits orientations for new hires.
Assist with annual open enrollment process, including communication, system updates, and employee support.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
Process and reconcile monthly benefits invoices.
Education:
Associate Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
