Benefits Administrator Position Available In Knox, Tennessee

Description We are looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee, on a contract-to-long-term basis. Responsibilities:

• Process payroll data with accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Administer medical claims and oversee billing processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage open enrollment processes by setting up benefits systems and ensuring employees are correctly enrolled.
• Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve discrepancies related to benefits, claims, or payroll.
• Maintain detailed records and track benefits and payroll information using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Generate and present reports on benefits and payroll data for management and auditing purposes.
• Utilize tools like Explain My Benefits to manage employee communications and support benefits administration.
• Monitor and address technical issues within benefits systems to ensure seamless employee access.

• At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, is essential.
• Familiarity with Explain My Benefits or similar benefits management tools is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processes and claims administration is highly desirable.
• Experience managing 401(k) or RRSP administration is a plus.
• Availability to start immediately and work in a contract-to-permanent arrangement.
