What you’ll do: As the Benefits Coordinator you will assist with administration of LifePoint Health’s benefit plans to ensure compliance with policies and plan documents. This role collaborates with benefits vendors, HR department managers, and employees to ensure proper plan administration, eligibility criteria, and timely resolution of escalated inquiries. The Coordinator also researches and analyzes service cases, communicates findings, and contributes to various ongoing and annual benefits activities. Responsibilities Administer LifePoint Health benefit programs, including Education Assistance, Tuition Reimbursement, Disability, and Family Leave. Respond to escalated case tickets, emails, and phone calls regarding benefit issues, identifying root causes and implementing resolutions. Serve as a resource for HSC leaders, facility People Services teams, and employees regarding benefit inquiries. Act as a liaison between managers and benefits carriers; communicate appeal updates and follow up as needed. Ensure accurate plan design administration by maintaining regular communication with benefit carriers. Develop and analyze routine and ad hoc reports related to administered benefit plans, such as utilization data for education assistance and family leave. Support annual enrollment processes, including eligibility and pricing audits, and user acceptance testing for premium updates. Partner with the Benefits Service Team for ongoing enrollment activities. What you’ll need: Education Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Experience in healthcare and/or human resources is desirable but not required.
