US Director of Benefits Position Overview:

As the Director of Benefits, you will be a strategic leader responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of thepany’sprehensive benefits programs. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of employee benefits trends,pliance regulations, and best practices. You will lead a team and collaborate closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Legal to ensure our benefits offerings attract, retain, and engage top talent while remainingpetitive and cost-effective. You will be instrumental in shaping the employee experience through the delivery of impactful and valued benefits programs. This position reports to the Chief Human Resource Officer.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with thepany’s business objectives and talent philosophy.
Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement plans (401(k), pension, etc.), leave policies, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
Ensurepliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and FMLA.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Lead the annual benefits renewal process, including analyzing utilization data, evaluating plan designs, and negotiating rates.
Assist with the development and management of the benefits budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
Oversee the development and delivery of employeemunication and education materials related to benefits programs.
Provide guidance and support to the HR team and employees on benefits-related inquiries and issues.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes in the benefits landscape.
Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Partner with internal stakeholders on projects related to employee well-being and engagement.
Conduct regular audits of benefits programs and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare and present benefits-related reports and analytics to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and administering a wide range of employee benefits programs.
Strong knowledge of relevant federal and state benefits laws and regulations.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpretplex data and make informed decisions.
Exceptionalmunication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectivelymunicate benefits information to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist), SHRM-SCP, or SPHR.
Experience working in the retail or apparel industry.
