The Director of Benefits will lead the development and implementation of employee benefits programs that align with the company’s goals and enhance employee satisfaction. This role will ensure compliance with regulations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee budgetary considerations related to benefits. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure optimal benefits offerings.
Analyze data related to employee benefits usage and recommend improvements based on findings.
Collaborate with HR to ensure benefits policies align with overall company objectives and HR strategies.
Manage the benefits budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
Lead and mentor the benefits team to deliver high-quality service to employees.
Communicate benefits information clearly and effectively to all employees, ensuring understanding and engagement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in employee benefits management, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulations.
10+ years Human Resources experience, along with direct supervisory
Certification in CEBS, PHR, and/or SHRM preferred.
Skills include Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, HRIS systems.
Demonstrated skills in strategic planning and budget management.
Strong knowledge of health insurance and retirement plans administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting; ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.
Strong project management skills and experience overseeing large-scale initiatives.
Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in team leadership and staff development.
