This critical role will serve as the strategic Global TotalRewards Leader for Dematic, leading the strategy, design andexecution of our compensation and rewards offerings.
Included inthis scope are:
Broad Based Compensation programs, ExecutiveCompensation, Specialized Variable Compensation (such as Sales andProject based incentive programs), Organization Capability Building(regarding the administration of total rewards), CompensationPrograms, and building necessary linkages to overarching TotalRewards, Benefits, and Recognition programs globally. This leader will work in close partnership with the Total RewardsCOE within The KION Group, along with Total Rewards and HR Systemsand Mobility leaders in other units across the Group, to align onexecutive compensation, systems implementations, Board Proposalsand overall Total Rewards philosophy and management. This role will provide the opportunity to influence organizationstrategy through partnering with HR Leadership and the DematicExecutive Leadership Team to drive a progressive Total Rewards agenda that meets the needs ofour diverse population and business model.

This Role:
Develop, align, and implement a progressive Total Rewardsphilosophy that guides the composition and administration of TotalRewards programs and processes globally Lead a talented team of Compensation and Total Rewardsprofessionals to drive the strategic development, design,implementation, communication, maintenance, and compliance of allcompensation programs to align with the company’s Total Rewardsphilosophy and business objectives Identify, develops and deliver strategic Total Rewards programsand short-term incentive programs that meet and anticipate theinternal needs of the organization while monitoring external trendsin the marketplace Educate leaders, managers, and employees on the company’s TotalRewards philosophy and administration practices. Communicate all compensation and benefits programs, includingthe development/maintenance of base salary ranges and othercompensation practices for the company’s various regions Plans, develops and/or participates in area and industrycompensation surveys or special compensation studies, includingmarket-based pricing, to ensure the company’s competitive positionwithin the marketplace. Review and analyze findings, assess uniquecompany needs and develop specific recommendations to managementwith respect to the compensation structure Work with KION Total Rewards team as they prepare materials formeetings of the Compensation Committee of the Board throughout theyear Responsible for executive compensation administration,including executive benchmarking, salary increases, short-termincentives, long-term incentives, key metric tracking, stockholderownership guidelines, executive severance, and other executivepolicies Consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team andHiring Managers to create competitive offer packages Perform compensation-related merger/acquisition/divestiturework as necessary – due diligence, retention, integration, etc. Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives involvingmultiple stakeholders with significant strategic and financialimpact Enable the business by developing a strategic talent plan andhelping to guide critical talent decisions including workforceplanning, succession planning, talent development and performancemanagement to support Dematic’s growth plans Utilize metrics and data to enable business leaders byidentifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance,retention, and employee engagement Keep a pulse on industry trends, best practices and marketmovement to ensure Dematic’s offerings and practices areprogressive and forward-looking What We are

15+ years of progressive Total Rewards leadership experiencespanning Broad-based Compensation, Executive Compensation,Benefits, and other Total Rewards offerings in globalenvironment Passion for leading high-performing teams and driving apositive culture Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentationskills to effectively partner with leaders across a diverse globalmatrix Demonstrated understanding and application of Total Rewards,Compensation, Benefits and Change Management, along with thesystems and financials that enable the execution of those bodies ofwork.
