The role will combine internal and market intel to keep the people function and leadership abreast of trends. Based on the approved philosophy, this role will develop a benchmarking process to be used for annual and ad hoc reviews.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Design and manage base pay, variable pay, and incentive programs across all levels of the organization Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of the annual compensation review process. and update plan designs as necessary. Proactively conduct external and internal market studies and evaluate competitiveness of the business. Determine appropriate assumptions for compensation cost components of quarterly and annual budgets and reforecasts at site, regional, and consolidated levels. Provide guidance and pay recommendations for employees at all levels. Serve as a subject matter expert by monitoring market trends ensuring compensation programs are aligned and relevant to both the market and business conditions. Support the People Operations team and payroll in developing and maintaining job structures and related job codes and pay structures where relevant for each functional area of the business Support the sales team in determining appropriate assumptions for field compensation cost components as part of bid specifications. Develop and conduct training on compensation fundamentals as relevant Monitor regulatory changes to keep programs compliant and competitive. Lead or support special projects (ex M&A integration, geographic expansion, or compensation technology implementation).

5+ years in a compensation role supporting a reasonably complex organization. Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing compensation strategies / structures that drive measurable organizational and/or financial impact.
