Essential Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the development of a strategic marketing plan targeted to Employers Commercial and Worker’s Compensation. Identifies referral growth strategy, sets referral growth goals, calculates referral forecasts, and creates applicable plans toward increased market penetration. Develops specific and measurable marketing objectives; designs, develops, and executes marketing projects based upon agreed objectives. Develops a plan with diverse promotional components to increase company visibility; delivers a clear and effective message about the services offered, their benefits, and differentiation in relation to competitors. Leads initiatives to help referral sources build and maintain favorable provider relationships. Establishes and maintains communication with referring providers, employers, worker’s comp and commercial insurance carriers. Acts as a liaison and provides marketing materials to enhance brand awareness. Identifies potential business opportunities by contacting potential employer partners; works with internal teams to develop proposals to meet client needs, concerns, and objectives. Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences. Informs management of business trends and opportunities to develop new services, products, and distribution channels. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
3 years’ experience business development and/or workers compensation. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or healthcare administration (or equivalent). CSIWCP or similar certification in Occupational Health or Worker’s Compensation preferred.
Other Requirements:
Ability to analyze data and formulate creative solutions. Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to express ideas in a clear and organized manner. Ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Proven success with B2B and B2C marketing. Experience developing and implementing successful brand communication strategies. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools, including research methods using data analytics software. Must have and maintain a valid Mississippi driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Must have the ability to work extended hours, as needed. Must have the ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to successfully perform required job duties. Routinely lifts/carries 20 lbs.; occasionally lifts/carries up to 40 lbs. Routinely stands and/or walks more than 4 hours per day. Routinely sits for more than 4 hours per day.
