About the Position The individual in this role will serve as the Director of the SNAP Elderly Simplified Application and MS Combined Application projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects meet federal and state policy and procedures, maintaining positive relationships with MDHS county office employees, and clients, and developing employees who are knowledgeable of, and adhering to, federal, state, and agency policies and regulations during the initial and recertification eligibility processes. The individual will also have weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities. This is a Non-State, TIME-LIMITED (14) position What you’ll need to be Successful Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good customer services skills, and an ability to manage a large workload while managing others. Experience in determining SNAP and/or TANF eligibility is preferred.
