Job Description Insight Global is looking for Director of Compensation and Benefits, HRIS to join one of our retail clients in Charlotte, NC. This person will be responsible for approximately 20 people, 4 direct reports, and will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Majority of the role will be largely focused on benefits, with other responsibilities handling vendor relations and decisions and communication with business stakeholders. Working with healthcare providers, vendors, and other 3rd parties to execute and negotiate RFPs/ legal documents for the business. Additionally will be involved in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems and reporting department and function
- related activity on a regular basis.

- 10+ years related progressive total rewards, human resources and/or training experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Large focus working in Benefits at a large enterprise company (ideally 10,000+ employees/associates) o Retirement plans (401K), health insurance, medical, dental, leave of absence, etc.
- Read, and interpret documents such as contracts, plan documents, periodicals, reports, technical procedures and legal briefings.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Payroll systems; Internet software, Human Resource systems and report writing
- Knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations o Tax compliance and reporting for benefit plans (health and retirement) o Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and labor laws
- HR system migration experience (preferably with Oracle)
