The Total Rewards Manager will support the Total Rewards function within Bell’s HR team. This role is responsible for a wide range of compensation and compliance initiatives, including job evaluations, market pricing, survey participation, bonus merit processes, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Collaborate on internal and external research and analysis (e.g. position evaluations, reclassification evaluations, and exempt and non-exempt determinations), job evaluations classifications and all compensation guidelines, policies and procedures.
Responsible for market pricing jobs as needed.
Responsible for monthly quarterly site bonus, annual corporate bonus and merit increase processes
Work collaboratively with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on identified role(s) in need of a compensation analysis
Lead in the participation of external compensation salary surveys
Research and analyze published compensation surveys and sources to gather data and determine organization’s competitive position
Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market research to determine competitive compensation ranges for identified positions, in alignment with our organization’s compensation philosophy.
Lead all compensation-related compliance efforts related to managing federal, state and local minimum wage increases, regulatory reporting requirements, and any other ongoing compliance efforts as needed
Identify and record FLSA classification for reviewed roles
Provide support in the implementation and ongoing administration of compensation systems including the compensation structure, maintenance of complete compensation history, etc.
Coordinate and provide general administrative support to the Director, Total Rewards and Payroll as needed
Support special compliance-related projects (i.e.: worker’s comp audit support) and ad-hoc reporting as needed Assist with 401k and health plan audits annually as well as 5500 filings
Create and audit monthly premium benefit invoices; resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll and the company
Provide monthly reporting to brokers and insurance carriers
Provide Workday reporting support for ad hoc reporting requests
Support Workday testing for updates and create job aids for Workday processes

ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500

filings and other related state and federal regulations and reporting requirements involving benefits Demonstrates strong attention to detail, process orientation, and accuracy Demonstrates strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills Must be able to understand directives and communicate effectively – both orally and in writing

Education and Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analysis or related discipline required

CCP, SPHR PHR, CEBS

certification, or CBP designation preferred Minimum 5 years of demonstrated and applicable compensation, benefits and HR experience Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including advanced Excel skills (e.g. creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP formulas, IF statements) Experience in a multi-state, multi-facility program preferred
