The Opportunity The Senior Director, Total Rewards will be a key strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Allegro MicroSystems’ global compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. This role ensures that our total rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with Allegro’s strategic objectives, corporate values, and commitment to attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent globally. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert and provide thought leadership on all aspects of total rewards. What You Will Need Develop and execute a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that supports Allegro’s business goals and talent acquisition/retention objectives, fostering an “Innovation with Purpose” culture. Oversee the design, administration, and communication of all compensation programs, including base pay structures, variable pay plans (short-term and long-term incentives), and sales compensation. Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of all health, welfare, and retirement benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and cost-effective. Direct the annual compensation review process, including salary planning, bonus payouts, and equity grants, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with performance. Oversee the Executive Compensation program, including interfacing regularly with Executive Compensation Consultants and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. This includes attending quarterly Compensation Committee meetings and preparing all relevant materials, such as those for the annual Proxy statement. Conduct regular market competitive analyses, benchmarking Allegro’s total rewards programs against industry best practices and recommending adjustments to maintain competitiveness. Ensure global compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across all operating regions. Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and brokers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Develop and implement innovative employee recognition programs that reinforce desired behaviors and celebrate employee contributions. Provide expert guidance and support to HR Business Partners, senior leadership, and managers on total rewards matters, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and benefits inquiries. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in total rewards, bringing new ideas and approaches to Allegro. Lead the strategic direction, optimization, and ongoing management of Human Capital Management System (HCMS) processes and functionality, ensuring seamless integration with total rewards programs. This includes overseeing the HCMS team and driving continuous improvement in HR technology utilization. Aid in the strategic transition and ongoing optimization of Total Rewards processes to a shared services model, partnering with HR and global business services to ensure efficient delivery of transactional services and an excellent employee experience. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing total rewards team. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)) are highly preferred. A minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role managing global compensation and benefits programs within a multinational organization, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry. Deep expertise in compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations, including global market trends. Extensive experience in Executive Compensation, including design, administration, and governance. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business needs into effective total rewards solutions. Proven experience with HRIS systems (Workday experience is a significant plus) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
