The Captive Consultant role is a national cross-industryspecialist role, focused on developing new captive managementclients, retaining existing ones, and supporting CRB operations bydemonstrating subject matter depth in captives and alternativerisk. Additionally, this role serves as an “ambassador” for theRisk & Analytics practice, with subject matter knowledge of WTW’sofferings in this area so that s/he can make easy internal”hand-offs” on identified opportunities. A key aspect of this roleis demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in collaboratingwith client advocates in problem-solving for clients and prospects.

The Role:
The Responsibilities:

Create innovative captive andalternative risk strategies and solutions. Implement the WTW’scaptive insurance operations strategy, ensuring alignment withorganizational goals and client needs. Enhance WTW’s serviceoffering by integrating analytics with technology to support thegrowth of the captive, risk & analytics, and alternative riskpractices Identify and pursue new market opportunities to positionWTW as a leader in providing support for bespoke captive solutionsand supporting analytical services. Develop and nurturerelationships with R&A leadership, client advocates,relationship managers, vertical leads, and external partners. Serveas a trusted advisor, both internally and externally, offeringconsultative guidance on how WTW can provide tailored captivesolutions and program support. Represent WTW at industryconferences, forums, and events to strengthen visibility andcredibility among these key audiences. Monitor regulatorydevelopments impacting Captive Managers and Program Administrators,proactively addressing risks and opportunities. Maintain strongrelationships with external parties (e.g., regulators, audit firms,and legal/tax advisors) to ensure a collaborative framework.

Qualifications Experience 10 years of experience in insurance,reinsurance, or risk management, with significant experience incaptive insurance, risk pooling, reinsurance, and regulatoryframeworks across multiple captive domiciles. Proven track recordof working with industry professionals in developing andimplementing tailored captive and alternative risk solutions.

Skills and Competencies Strong expertise in captive insuranceoperations and program administration. Relationship-building skillsto engage client advocates, relationship managers, vertical leads,and external partners.

Project management skills:

ability to scopeand price, lead the analysis and research, and lead/execute oncreation of client deliverables. Proficiency in leveragingtechnology and analytics to meet client aspirational needsExcellent communication, and stakeholder management skills. Thisposition will remain posted for a minimum of three business daysfrom the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidateslate has been identified. Compensation and Benefits Base salaryrange and benefits information for this position are being includedin accordance with requirements of various state/local paytransparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary fordifferent individuals in the same role based on several factors,including but not limited to location of the role, individualcompetencies, education/professional certifications,qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potentialfor revenue generation (Producer roles only). Compensation The basesalary compensation range being offered for this role is $125,000 -$250,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annualshort-term incentive bonus.
