Plan Manager 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 102 Trade Zone Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170 Role Objectives The Plan Manager is responsible for direct contact with the Employer regarding all aspects of the Plan. Their communication may be related to distributions, contributions, compliance or plan design. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Respond to or initiates intermediate emails with employers, advisors or participants. Answers, returns or makes intermediate calls to employers, advisors or participants Reviews and approves distributions and loans prior to fund release. Resolves most issues that prevent payrolls from being processed. Monitors and communicates to employers contribution rate discrepancies. Receives and forwards various forms to other internal departments (distributions, rollovers, beneficiary, SRAs) for processing. Prepare year end valuation letter Reviews simple to intermediate non audited and simple audited year-end financial reports and Form 5500s Able to calculate eligibility for a plan with intermediate requirements Assist employers with payroll uploads. Able to identify intermediate payroll issues Able to review intermediate contribution calculations and projections and explain to the employer Able to read and interpret most sections of a plan document Assists with year-end audit; able to research and respond to auditor’s questions Communicates contribution changes to employers Educ a ti o n R e quirement s Associate Degree with relevant work experience or Bachelors Degree Pr e f e r r ed Skills Acute attention to detail Able to work well with others Professional, friendly attitude and outgoing Excellent written and oral communications skills Highly organized Able to work frequently under pressure Able to multi-task Good research skills Understanding of data file development and transmission, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
