Academic Acute Care Surgery All Ranks All Tracks The Universityof Missouri Department of Surgery is seeking a dynamic candidate tofurther expand the Division of Acute Care Surgery. The Frank L.Mitchell Jr., MD Trauma Center at MU Healthcare is astate-designated and ACS verified Level I trauma center serving aprimarily rural patient population. The Division has a long historyof excellence providing care for the injured, elective, andemergent general surgery, surgical critical care in a dedicatedTrauma-Surgical ICU and burn/thermal injury care. MU Health carestrongly supports the growth and development of Acute Care Surgery,a signature program for the health system, through sustained andsignificant investment in injury care.

Qualifications:

MD/DO BC/BE

in General Surgery Successful completion of an accredited surgical critical carefellowship Commitment to continued development and growth of clinicalservices and clinical teaching activities Candidates will beevaluated on their qualification in surgical critical care orcommensurate with clinical experience. Priority Consideration willbe given to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
