BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for general and ad-hoc compensation analyses and serves as the subject matter expert on provider compensation matters providing consultation, modeling and contract analysis to operations leaders. Works seamlessly with the legal department on origination, coordination and administration of physician contracts while supporting standardized and centralized contract administration, compliance and records management.

Degree:
Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Health-Care related field or Business.
License/Certification Required:
Minimum Work Experience:
3+ years of work experience in healthcare operations, physician contracting, or finance field
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Preferred experience in provider compensation planning Advanced knowledge of Excel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning/Strategy Model new compensation plans Analyze compensation data to identify trends, disparities, and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform compensation decisions Create and provide reports as requested Monitoring & Auditing Monitor and review status of provider contracts Calculate provider compensation and accruals including base pay, productivity-based incentives, and quality-based bonuses In coordination with finance team, accrue for quality, productivity, APC supervision and other compensation obligations Audit provider payments to determine compliance with contract terms Research questions/issues regarding provider pay Work with Senior Leadership/Contracting/ Operations/ HR on specific issues resulting from compensation administration challenges Ensure provider compensation practices and policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as Stark Law, Anti-kickback laws, FMLA, and HIPAA; work with Legal Services on template changes and other updates as necessar Drafting & Communication Using organizational templates, draft all provider contract documents, including contracts, amendments, and exhibits Actively engage with providers and provide compensation information to providers on an individual basis including contract terms, changes, and updates Summarize and communicate results of research/analysis of provider payroll issues Document Control Ensure that each provider contract is fully executed and supported by essential documentation (e.g. FMV & business statement) Maintain provider contract database/system Maintain provider information in ETCH HR system (Workday)
